White Birches Campsites in Greene County offers you 350 acres of mountain woodland on the breath-taking rim of the northern Catskills. You may choose your site from our Lake side area, our old hemlock or wood meadow hillside area. Our sites work for all types of camping units from tents to motor homes.
The White Birches 30 acre mountain lake is pure and spring fed with depths of 15 feet. It lies 2000 feet above sea level in a mountain hollow. There are rafts, a wading area for children and a sloping grassy beach area for sunning. The water is never bone chilly, but refreshingly cool, in even the warmest weather. |

Many of our campers return yearly to fish our lake for the abundance of fish that it reveals. Boat rentals are available, but please feel free to bring your own if you wish. (Sorry, no motors of any kind.) Boat rentals include rowboats, canoes, and paddle boats.
While our lake offers great swimming and fishing, our woods offer great hiking and mountain bike trails.
Our mountain bike trails offer both double and single track to satisfy the needs of both the beginner and the expert. |

During the summer we have the traditional hay ride, horseshoes, badminton, volleyball and basketball. Our Sunday breakfast has also been a favorite of many campers as they enjoy their stay with us. Take the time to visit the beautiful area around us. You will find two great 18 hole golf courses located in the town of Windham with views that even eagles envy.
